Youth sizing and the Youth 2S WaderUpdated 4 hours ago
Youth sizing follows body measurements in inches, same as adult gear. Use the Youth Gear Size and Fit Guide and the chart on the Youth 2S Wader product page.
Sizing a growing kid
- Measure now, do not guess from age. Height, chest, and shoe size do the deciding.
- Between sizes? Size up. A little room now means more seasons of use.
- Do not oversize by more than one size on waders. Too much boot and too much torso is a safety and comfort problem in the field.
Built-in answer to growth spurts
The Youth Wader Program is designed around outgrowing gear: buy the Youth 2S Wader once, then trade up in size for a $125 exchange fee whenever they outgrow it. See Youth Wader Program: how it works.
